The people who inspired me

Different walks of life. One shared passion for the craft.

Before I started The Sports Trading Project, these were some of the people I followed closely. I watched what they shared, learned from the way they approached sports betting, and found the inspiration to begin my own journey.

The crazy thing is how different their backgrounds are. Some are fathers. Some are single. Some are younger; others are in their thirties and beyond. Different people, different stories, and different starting points—but they have one important thing in common: they've dedicated themselves to learning and mastering the art of sports trading.

What inspired me wasn't just a winning screenshot. It was seeing people put in the work, study the numbers, share lessons, and keep refining their process. It made me want to learn those skills for myself—and, eventually, help other people learn too.

The people above are the sports traders who inspired me to start my journey. Below, you’ll see my own Pikkit-tracked results since I began studying their approaches, applying what I’ve learned, and developing my own strategies.

My Pikkit record. The numbers behind my journey.

I believe in sharing my results—not just talking about what might be possible. These snapshots show my all-time record and the month I did my best so far.

The person behind the project

Meet Christian “CJ” Jenkins

Hey, my name is Christian Jenkins, but my friends call me CJ.

I'm a single father from Central New Jersey, and I'm the founder of The Sports Trading Project.

Before getting into sports trading, I worked as a sales and marketing manager in the glass industry. I wasn't a professional gambler, a mathematician, or somebody with a special background in sports analytics. I was simply someone looking for opportunities to build a better financial future.

About a year ago, I discovered a completely different approach to sports betting. Instead of relying on predictions, gut feelings, or which team I thought would win, I started learning about arbitrage betting, positive expected value, and following sharp money.

But everything really started coming together when I discovered OddsJam.

What impressed me wasn't just the software. It was the education. OddsJam has more than 8,000 videos on YouTube, including interviews, tutorials, and mini-masterclasses featuring experienced sports bettors. Suddenly, I had access to people sharing the strategies, lessons, and experiences behind successful sports trading operations.

Since I started using OddsJam, I've continued learning and tracking my progress. My October 2026 Pikkit screenshot shows $15,732.04 in all-time reported profit—nearly $16,000. I'm continuing to learn and improve every day.

My strongest reported month was February 2026, when I made $4,197.70 from arbitrage betting. My personal goal is to eventually earn $100,000 per year through sports trading.

For transparency, I use Pikkit, a third-party sports betting tracker, to track and verify all of my recorded trades. My Pikkit results display a Verified badge, and I share screenshots of my all-time record and best month above.

Why I Created The Sports Trading Project

My mission is simple.

I want to help as many people as humanly possible learn how to build a second source of income or develop the skills to become successful sports bettors.

Whether you're someone working a full-time job looking to develop another skill, a parent trying to create additional financial opportunities, or simply someone who wants to approach sports betting more intelligently, I want this project to be a place where you can learn.

I'm not here to tell you that sports trading is easy or that profits are guaranteed. There are risks, losing stretches, and plenty of lessons that only experience can teach.

I'm here to share what I've learned, the tools I personally use, and the process I'm following as I work toward my own goals.

My hope is that through education, discipline, and the right resources, I can help others develop a more informed approach to sports betting.

One trade at a time. One lesson at a time.

Welcome to The Sports Trading Project.

Real examples

How the four OddsJam tools work

A plain-English walkthrough of Arbitrage, Positive EV, Sharp Money and Prediction Traders, with one simple example each. Examples are illustrative only — not live data or betting recommendations.

⇆

Arbitrage — Profit From Different Odds

What it does: Arbitrage identifies situations where different sportsbooks offer odds that make it mathematically possible to cover both outcomes at a profit if both bets are successfully placed at the quoted prices.

Simple example
Sportsbook A
Team A
+110
Sportsbook B
Team B
+110
Bet $100 on each team
Total wagered: $200
$210 payout

Mathematical profit: $10, whichever team wins. This is an illustrative example, not a currently available betting opportunity. Odds can move, bets may be rejected, and other execution risks apply.

+

Positive EV — Find Value in the Odds

What it does: Positive EV betting identifies wagers where the estimated probability of winning is greater than the probability implied by the sportsbook’s odds.

Simple example

Suppose a wager has an accurately estimated 55% chance of winning, but the sportsbook is offering +100 odds, which imply a 50% break-even win probability.

Estimated win chance55%
Odds imply break-even50%
Theoretical edge+10% EV

That would represent a theoretical +10% expected return per dollar wagered over repeated comparable opportunities. An estimated edge is not a guarantee — probability estimates can be wrong, and individual bets frequently lose.

⌇

Sharp Money — Study Where Informed Money Is Positioned

What it does: Sharp Money uses market activity, exchange liquidity, and pricing data to help identify potential action from informed bettors.

Simple example

An exchange displays meaningful liquidity on one side of a market, suggesting a participant is seeking to take the opposite side at a particular price. Compare that signal with sportsbook prices to evaluate whether an attractive price remains available.

Liquidity and market signals require interpretation and do not guarantee that a bet has positive expected value.

◎

Prediction Traders — Learn From Experienced Exchange Traders

What it does: Prediction Traders helps users analyze trading activity, historical performance, position sizes, and available market signals across supported prediction-market exchanges.

Simple example

A trader with a documented trading history normally takes $200 positions but opens a $600 position in a particular market — three times their typical size.

Typical position size$200
Position in this market$600

The tool can help identify that activity, but users should still examine the trader’s history, the current market price, and the risk before acting. This analyzes individual traders, which is different from general Sharp Money market signals.

What you'll learn

Four ways traders analyze the odds

You don't need to begin with complicated formulas. Start by understanding what these tools can—and cannot—tell you.

⇄

Arbitrage

Compare odds at different sportsbooks and learn how some price differences may create hedged opportunities, subject to execution and account risks.

+

Positive EV

Learn why some prices may offer positive expected value over many bets. A positive projection never guarantees an individual win.

⌁

Sharp Money

Study pricing changes and betting-market information as signals—not certainties—when evaluating opportunities.

◎

Prediction Traders

Explore trader performance, position sizes, and market prices across prediction exchanges like Kalshi, Polymarket, Prophet X, and Novig. Learn how to evaluate experienced traders' activity and identify potential opportunities using real market data.

See the method, not just the results

Let the numbers tell the story.

The advantage of an odds tool isn't a magical pick. It's the ability to compare prices, identify opportunities more efficiently and keep your process consistent.

This sample shows how you could explain an odds comparison. Replace it with an authorized, current OddsJam screen recording before launch.

Common questions

Know what you're trying.

Do I need experience with arbitrage or positive EV?

No. Start with an introduction and a small amount of time understanding odds and probability. The tools still require judgment and correct execution.

Do I have to do sports trading full-time?

No. I know people who use OddsJam for around an hour a day or spend a few hours after work learning the tools and looking for opportunities. I also follow traders who report earning well over six figures per year. Those are very different individual experiences, and high earnings are not typical. Time spent does not guarantee profit, and losses are possible. You can start by learning at your own pace.

Does OddsJam guarantee that I'll make money?

No. Odds and expected-value models involve assumptions, while betting involves potential losses. Even apparently hedged bets have execution, limits, voiding and other risks.

Does the trial charge me later?

Free-trial billing depends on the specific plan and terms shown during signup. Review the pricing, cancellation requirements and renewal details on the official checkout page before joining.

How does code TSTP work?

The code and reported 35% savings need confirmation against the current affiliate program. Once confirmed, this page can link directly to your tracked offer.

Can I ask CJ a question before deciding?

Absolutely. Follow me on X (@sportstradeproj) and send me a DM. I’m happy to help with your questions, your free trial, or setting up your OddsJam account.
